The picture locked sequence (also known as the final edit) is the final set of creative editorial decisions used to online, up-res, and finish the project for final delivery. The locked picture sequence is usually delivered to the online house or laboratory as both a file of the locked timeline from the NLE, and an Edit Decision List (EDL).
