The first missions revealed that most asteroids were accumulations of rocks rather than solid blocks, the result of a huge game of celestial snooker. Soon, scientists realized the necessity of bringing back samples from asteroids. These samples would need to be contained in hermetically sealed vessels that could survive re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere. This technological challenge tests the nerves of space probe operators who must orchestrate and program the movements of space craft from a distance of several hundred million miles away.

With the help of cutting edge slow-motion, drone and macro filming techniques, we see the butterflies’ tiny world in immaculate detail as they overcome the challenges of metamorphosis and migration, fly thousands of kilometers and as high as 3300 meters. Butterfly Journey reveals our interconnected and awe-inspiring world on the giant screen, through the eyes of the butterflies. Yet what fate awaits them when the fine-tuned climates they intimately know suddenly shift?

The team who first filmed the giant squid in its natural habitat in Legends of the Deep reassemble for the latest deep-sea exploration in the Red Sea. A team of experts and crew join an expedition by a research institute of Saudi Arabia―the world's first such research in the Red Sea.

Beyond the incredibly clear water, the colorful tropical marine life, and the steep drop of the mega rock cliffs, is the mysterious "brine pool," a second water surface underwater. The pool is said to be close to Earth's early oceans, and may reveal something about the origin of life. Filmed using a UHD camera developed especially for the project, the program captures deep sea images as never before.
