Together, these sequences will form a whole; a new and positive vision of Africa where, for the first time on the Giant Screen, local African people will share their own authentic stories with the world. Designed and conceived for the largest screens in our galaxy, Einstein’s Incredible Universe takes audiences on a spellbinding journey through space and time, as well as into Einstein’s imagination during some of his most famous “thought experiments.” The film tells the stories of two contemporary astrophysicists, Andrea Ghez (2020 Nobel-laureate) and Nergis Mavalvala (Dean of Science at MIT), who were inspired by Einstein growing up and are now building on his theories in ways that would have astonished even him. With major funding from the National Science Foundation, Einstein’s Incredible Universe will launch alongside a robust educational outreach campaign in 2026. |
