Omniversum in The Hague bid a fond farewell to our esteemed colleague and respected projectionist, Robby Rampersad, as he retires after an incredible career of over 40 years on Tuesday, January 23, 2025. Robby began working at the giant screen theater even before its opening on December 8, 1984.
Despite offers from IMAX to assist in building new theaters, Robby chose to stay close to his beloved family, a testament to his values. IMAX entrusted him with the Omnimax projector, knowing no one understood it better than he did.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Robby for his dedication and wish him and his family all the best in this new chapter. Thank you, Robby!
