Each year, GSCA members ask the same important question: “What does the data say?”
To answer it with real insight—and impact—we need your help.
The 2025 State of the Giant Screen Survey is now open. This is the only report of its kind focused exclusively on our industry, and your participation is critical to ensure it reflects the real-world challenges, trends, and innovations shaping our shared future.
Why this survey matters to all GSCA members:
This annual effort has been building since 2020 to provide trustworthy, aggregated data that informs strategic planning, drives industry conversations, supports advocacy, and identifies growth opportunities across all areas of the field. Your input ensures the report benefits everyone—from theaters to producers, distributors, vendors, and beyond.
What’s new in 2025:
- More KPIs and deeper insights in every section
- 2026 projections to support trend forecasting
- A comprehensive look at school group attendance
- Exploration of AI use in GS theaters
- Ticket pricing model comparisons
- Expanded marketing and in-theater advertising sections

Your time is valuable, and this survey is designed to respect it—while maximizing the value of your response.

- Non-Theater Members: ~10 minutes
