September 29, 2018—Giant screen and 3D film production company
nWave Pictures
has entered into a partnership with the MZM production group and Belga
Films to expand nWave’s brand and market reach. As part of the deal, MZM
and Belga have purchased a majority stake in nWave.
September 22, 2018—The Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) is pleased to announce the winners of its 2018 Achievement Awards, which recognize excellence in giant screen filmmaking, marketing, and lifelong learning. The awards were announced the evening of Friday, September 21, at the GSCA 2018 International Conference and Trade Show in Chattanooga, Tennessee, during a ceremony held at the Westin hotel. IMAX Corporation, sponsor of the awards gala, presented the IMAX Maximum Image Awards during the ceremony as well.

September 16, 2018—nWave Pictures has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Feathered Dinosaurs, a giant screen 3D documentary film produced by Saint Thomas Productions. With its production freshly started, the 40-minute film will be released in 2020.
