Show your commitment to the Giant Screen Cinema Association and play a vital role in shaping the future of our industry by declaring your intent to run for the GSCA Board of Directors! Election to the GSCA Board is one of the highest honors in the giant screen industry, offering you the chance to contribute your expertise, influence the direction of the association, and make a meaningful impact on the global giant screen community. The GSCA Board is dedicated to fostering diversity within the association’s leadership. We aim to ensure that our Board reflects a broad spectrum of perspectives and experiences, with attention to:

  • Gender (including nondiscrimination based on sexual representation and orientation or gender identity)
  • Racial/ethnic representation
  • Age
  • International representation and perspectives

GSCA Board of Directors

According to the GSCA Bylaws, the Board of Directors is composed of leaders from various sectors of our industry. This year, we have ten vacancies to fill: one in distribution, one in related business, two in theaters, one in production, and two at-large positions. Additionally, the Board has the authority to appoint three more directors to ensure our leadership accurately represents the diverse membership of GSCA.

Nomination Process

If you are passionate about the future of the giant screen industry and would like to be a candidate in the 2025 GSCA Board of Directors election, please submit the following materials to Tammy Barrett no later than Friday, October 4:

  1. A photo of yourself
  2. The business category that best identifies your primary role in the Giant Screen Industry (Production, Distribution, Theater, or Related Business)
  3. A short biography, including your current title, company, and location (500 words max, Word document)
  4. Your statement of purpose (500 words max, Word document)
  5. Signed Code of Conduct Declaration
  6. Completed board skills matrix (this will be kept confidential and shared with the Governance Committee only after voting has concluded)
  7. Optional: a one-minute video introducing yourself and your mission

Please submit your nomination materials to Tammy Barrett via email no later than Friday, October 4, 2024. GSCA members will vote for the Board of Directors between October 8 and October 25, 2024.
