Pilialoha means friendship in the Hawaiian language. Despite a language difference, a Japanese boy and a Hawaiian boy communicate and become friends through their adventure in Hawaii. Together they search for a magical flower that will make a miracle. This film is a message about cross-cultural communication to children all around the world from Benesse Corporation, one of Japan’s largest companies in the education field.
