Wild Australia: The Edge was filmed in the Blue Mountains wilderness, an ancient landscape with beautiful and treacherous waterfalls, canyons, and underground rivers, carved by streams that lead back into the world as it was ninety million years ago. The wilderness protects itself from encroachment with a formidable barrier of vertical cliffs. Now viewers can rappel into this world of exotic creatures and unique plant life, traveling to a secret remote ravine where 40 ancient trees, 120 feet tall, survive unchanged since the age of the dinosaurs.
