Jackie Mollet to Join Smithsonian Enterprises in New Role

We’re excited to share that Jackie Mollet, Managing Director of Museum Enterprises at the Saint Louis Science Center, will be taking on a new role with Smithsonian Enterprises in Washington, D.C. this May.

Jackie will serve as the Director of Theaters for Smithsonian Enterprises, overseeing the Lockheed Martin IMAX and the planetarium at the National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall, as well as the Airbus IMAX Theater at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia—along with other exciting responsibilities across the Smithsonian’s theater network.

During her 26 years at the Saint Louis Science Center, Jackie has made an indelible mark. From leading major initiatives like the record-breaking Body Worlds exhibition, to the transformation of the OMNIMAX® Theater and countless enhancements to the guest experience, Jackie’s vision, leadership, and collaborative spirit have helped shape the Science Center into what it is today.

“I am grateful for my experiences at the Science Center,” Jackie says. “I’ve worked with amazing people who I’ve learned from every day, and I deeply appreciate our shared commitment to delivering fun, educational, and immersive experiences for our guests.”

While Jackie will be deeply missed at the Science Center, we’re incredibly proud to see her talents recognized on a national stage. We look forward to cheering her on as she continues to inspire curiosity and wonder—now with the Smithsonian.

Please join us in congratulating Jackie on this exciting next chapter!
