Denver, Colorado—Mission Partners Entertainment Group has announced that 25-year film industry veteran, Antonietta Monteleone has joined the company to serve as Chief Executive Officer.  Monteleone will lead the company’s distribution efforts while expanding its footprint as a producer and innovator in the giant screen documentary industry and beyond.

Monteleone brings a wealth of industry experience to her new role. Prior to joining Mission Partners, Monteleone launched the distribution division and served as President of Cosmic Picture Distribution, overseeing all aspects of the company’s business and managing its growing portfolio of films.  Prior to Cosmic, she served as Vice President of Film Distribution for National Geographic, where she released more than 20 iconic and award-winning giant screen films including, Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure, U2 3D, and Restrepo, among others.  Monteleone began her career in the giant screen industry managing film distribution for nWave Pictures, a Belgian film studio where she managed film distribution to commercial and institutional theaters.

Denver-based Mission Partners Entertainment Group released Wings Over Water narrated by Michael Keaton in 2022, a joint venture between the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Audubon Society.  The award-winning film is currently running in giant screen theaters and has played to audiences in nearly  100 markets worldwide. Mission also will soon release Secrets of Great Salt Lake, narrated by Mike Rowe. The film will be distributed worldwide and will also feature as the anchor title for the soon-to-be-completed giant screen destination theater and interpretive center at Utah’s Antelope Island State Park. Two additional natural history films are currently in production with several more in the development stage, engaging more than a dozen key partners. Mission’s pipeline into more than 10,000 schools provides an unrivaled opportunity to inspire the nation’s youth and activate the next generation of conservationists and thought leaders.
