August 1, 2014—With a $2 million donation from Florida Hospital that will not only rename the dome theater after the hospital chain, Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry will bring science to the masses in ways that were never imagined 20 years ago. Called “Florida Hospital Presents Live SX,” surgeons at local hospitals will perform routine surgeries, which will be broadcast live to MOSI’s Coleman Science Works Theater for middle school, high school and college students.
